Animal encounters to inspire young minds through education.
Really Wild Learning was formed with children in mind and the desire to make a difference. Its main aim is to get people connected and involved with wildlife through educational and fun-based learning. We believe that all animals are important to our planet and the only way to promote conservation and respect is through education and positive up-close animal interaction.
All school workshops are based on key topics and are created in line with the national curriculum statutory requirements. Outside events, talks and birthday parties use fun activities and amazing animals to help build confidence, entertain and educate.
SCHOOLS
We offer a range of age-related school workshops. Students can meet a range of animals and engage in learning specific to the national curriculum key stages.
BIRTHDAYS
Are you ready for a really wild birthday party? If your child loves Steve Backshaw (Deadly 60), Crocodile Hunter, Naomi's nightmares of nature or simply meeting interesting animals then this is the party for you!
What makes us different
All school workshops are presented by the director / educational officer Kim Insull. With Really Wild Learning you get a fully trained teacher with 14 years experience preparing lessons and facilitating children's learning, not just an animal enthusiast.
Due to our presenters teaching background Kim Insull has a continually updated enhanced DBS check.
We are fully trained to work with animals and the public and have public liability insurance.
An outstanding variety of animals all selected for their learning value and disposition around children.
A fresh and creative look at animal encounters and the value they have. Support learning materials are provided and the chance to get involved in some Really Wild Learning art and photography.
Unfortunately the animal encounter business sector is currently unregulated. We pride ourselves in animal welfare issues and provide all our animals with the highest standard of care.
