Habitats and adaptation - Looking at some truly amazing animals students link the creatures appearance to the type of habitats in which they originate from. We explore why animal adaptations are important and how they can change over time?
Identifying and classification -How can we identify the animals we are looking at and group them? What are the similarities and differences between the animals.
Predator v's prey - As animals compete against each other for survival in the wild what tricks to animals use to catch prey and avoid being eaten themselves. How are these adaptations changing over time?
Environmental change and its impact on wildlife - How does our impact on the environment affect habitats and the animals that live there? In this workshop we look at how the planet and wildlife has changed around the world and examine the issues facing the planet now. Students think about what can be done in the future to help wildlife and meet some animals that are really struggling in their natural habitat.
